World Scientific Mailchimp Web App

We created a web app for World scientific to handle over 200 email list groups. This significantly exceeded Mailchimp’s maximum of 60 groups per email list and therefore an alternative approach was needed.

The solution involved creating signup and preferences update pages that connected to Mailchimp via the Mailchimp API and updated data accordingly. A list of security measures were also put in place to prevent malicious use of the update preferences page. Additional tools were also provided to allow for bulk import of emails to the list and where emails had be entered via the Mailchimp account admin area.
