The Log Company is an established UK-wide supplier of Logs & Wood Fuel. We created their previous website in 2014 and have continually built the SEO value of the website since this time. However, more recently the company also provides a range of outdoor living products, including wood-burning hot tubs, and is also the primary provider of Kirami products to the UK.
The New Website For The Log Company
A website redesign was required to reposition the focus of the website across the three arms of the business, whilst minimising the impact on existing sales and the significant existing SEO value. The website also required hot tub builder functionality to drive more hot tub sales online and reduce repetitive tasks.
The website was build as a custom-themed WooCommerce website utilising WordPress blocks. The WooCommerce functionality was heavily extended both through WooCommerce plugins and a significant amount of custom development, which includes WooCommerce API development, custom WordPress block development and data scraping from the manufacturers’ website to automatically populate and update additional product information & videos.
We continue to improve search engine visibility for this website and provide add hoc development work inaction to providing security updates, health checks, and high-performance hosting on secure servers.
